Our teaching methodology is based on the PYP (Primary Years Program), a program designed for young children that naturally complements PBL (Project-Based Learning). In both methodologies, the child is the central focus, allowing them to be the protagonist of their own learning.

Middle Years Program

The MYP (Middle Years Program) is designed for students aged 11 to 16, where they develop and enhance skills in self-management, research, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

 

The MYP consists of eight subject groups:

• Language and Literature
• Language Acquisition
• Individuals and Societies
• Sciences
• Mathematics
• Arts
• Physical Education
• Design

 

In the final year, our students create a Personal Project, their first international challenge. It serves as the perfect bridge to the Extended Essay in the Diploma Program.

Diploma Program

Nuevo Mundo has always been committed to education with international standards.

 

That's why, since 2009, we have adopted the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, which is currently the most widely recognized and accepted pre-university program in the global academic community.

 

The Diploma Program consists of six subjects and a core that includes Theory of Knowledge, the Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) Program, and the development of an Extended Essay.

Arts

We believe in the importance of a well-rounded education that includes the arts. Our arts program is designed to inspire, motivate, and develop our students' creative skills in areas such as music, painting, design, and more.
